Happy Birthday to MEE

Well, not really. My birthday is over, but I am now 23. I had such an amazing weekend!! Times 100%.. Sarah came down for the whole weekend and Kt cam down for the week. They love me, it is true.

So Sarah and I drove and kept driving. Came to an island which has wild ponies. and decided to stay the night. I love random adventures and it was so much fun!!! I hope my life is full of many more spontaneous adventures!

Man, It was been a terribly busy week. I haven't had much time to just sit back and relax. Sarah was down for an interview and I'm hoping and praying God will make a way for everything to fall into place. I handed in my notice that I won't be living here in 60 days. scary stuff, because that means I'm going to need a place to stay! I guess it's scary cos the devil is amazing at taking my one tiny grain of doubt and turning it into a bolder. So that has been a tad stressful.

I've also really been struggling with grad school. I thought I new what God wanted me to do about that, but I just feel like nothing is falling into place at all. I really don't know where God is calling me to go... I just wish God and I were on the same time frame or owned the same watch...

This weekend should be an amazing time of laughter, joy, and rest! Because I'm headed up to Sarah's for the long weekend to do not much other anything at all. Maybe a walk through the woods or a dance in the moonlight, but any other best friend activities are precious and secret!

So I joined a Summer Shake Off challenge at the gym! I'm excited, I love a good competition! So I have to try to lose as much weight as I can before August 1st. I think it will be fun. Challenging and it will definitely test my self-control, but fun.

This is another time I really miss college. Because I would be at home now with my friends, family, and boyfriend. so sad:( I would totally re-do college in a heartbeat. Like that terrible Tommy Lee show, where he went back to college. yeah! I can be the next Tommy Lee!

I wish I had something clever to say....hmmm. I had amazing ice cream today near odu, it was yummy! I had an not so amazing phone conversation with an Asian man on the phone today. I was calling random places in my gps and asking if they were ice cream shops, ha. He said no and said what are you looking for? and then proceeded to tell me every ice cream place he new, but I couldn't really understand him. So eventually I had to hang up, so sorry man if you're out there!

so, I know sometimes that a good plan isn't always God's plan. BUT I think this is a good plan arranged by God :)

What a wonderful Monday! Today was a great day, even though I was really tired the whole time...

Some days I just really hate being a girl. I mean it's really not fair how we can't control our emotions some days. I wish I had less emotions I guess is the point of this paragraph. Sometimes I just feel conflicted about life situations...

I had a really fun and amazing weekend. That's all I really need to say about that and hopefully next weekend will be as great!

In other news I love talking to my friends, big surprise. But sometimes I just sit there like thinking how lucky I am to talk to people I love! <3

I gave my gun to my pastor, in case I get a case of the grumpies....

So I've definitely been in better spirits today. It's weird how it hits you. I was driving home from eating a delicious dinner with my dear friend and buying too much wine. And I was driving watching people and smiling! Then, because I am a dork I starting laughing and thanking God for giving me back my joy. I know that sounds weird, but since my pappy has been in the hospital I just feel like I've lost some of my joy, weird I know. Can you really lose joy? Am I a freak of nature? probaly.

You know what I totally dislike? Hearing words of truth spoken to you from other people. You know when God uses them to smack you on the side of the head... My words of truth from Wednesday, "Some times good plans, aren't really God's plans.' Yes, I needed that, because I am a block head some days.

Well, I'm going to a wine festival this Saturday. Which is exciting! :D I don't know why sonic commercials make me chuckle like a fool...ha Oh, I started a really good book: A Spot of Brother.

So it hasn't been the best of times lately, but I was trying to stay positive and trust God. Then today I accidentally killed my cat. The one thing in the world that counted on me and loved and trusted me unconditionally and I killed it. I feel so horrible...so horrible.
