So thankful

So I should update! It has been to long. Thanksgiving came and left...So I didn't get to write the cliche I'm thankful for....post. But I will now.

I'm thankful for my Papa, friend, and constant guide and the random and funny ways he speaks to me.

I'm thankful for my mom and grandparents who are great examples to me and help guide me through life.

I'm thankful for my brothers, who are so unique and bring so much joy to life, I definitely don't know what I'd do without those two!

I'm thankful for my best friend Sarah King, a kindred spirit who I feel so comfortable with, who loves and supports me and is nice to me when I'm a crazy beast.

I'm thankful for the abundance of other deep, genuine friendships I have, which have made my life full and my life transitions easier and more bearable.

I'm thankful that I have a job that brings me joy and allows me to growth and use the abilities God has given me.

I'm thankful I am apart of an amazing church where God's word is spoken to me weekly and I am convicted and encouraged each time I go.

I'm thankful for the twists and turns in life that bring you to places you never thought you could go and for the people that have become a part of my life along the way.

I'm also thankful for every experience and decision I have made. I've been through some great experiences, and I've been through some hard ones. I've made some good decisions, but I've also made some bad ones, but without these decisions or experiences I wouldn't be who I am or where I am today, so therefore I am thankful.

So there you have it, my cliche I'm thankful for post....

Poor Carol Hannah is so sick, breaks my heart.

Okay so this has been a crazy week. A little up and down. School has been really great! Most everything else has been one good. Minus one friend being a downer, negative, clingy, and oh so annoying!! Yes, this sounds sad and mean, but I think she needs to go. I don't like drama, so needs to go, sorry. Like Pastor Eric said last Sunday, "Negative relationships in your live need to either change or dissolve.'' Think it will soon be time for me to "man up.'

My one student apologized this week and said, "I'm sorry Ms. Elise. I didn't mean to break your heart." It was precious and made me remember why I love my job. All for those little nuggets.

I wish I had more to write about. Right now I'm going to watch Project Runway and clean out the Dwight's litter box and let him out of the closet. He locked himself in about 20 minutes ago, ha, silly guy.

So I really want to blog...but I can't bring myself to do it... you know why :/

weekend roundup

So I am going to write about my amazing weekend! Cos it rocked times ten!!!! Friday I made and ate my first meatloaf ever!!!! It was really good and I got to share it with my dear friends. oh and I also made a pumpkin ice cream cake! Which was good. Then Sarah and I went to see A Christmas carol in 3D which was really good :)

Then my family came Saturday morning. and my pappy came to surprise me!! It was so amazing. we had a really nice and fun day which ended with going to see Say Anything. They were amazing and it was fun. We went to ihop after and it was gooooood.

Sunday we did church and lunch. Then we saw Evil Dead the Musical!! It was SOOO funny!!! Then my family left which was really sad:( But Sarah stayed the night which was really good :)

It has been an amazing week so far and no school tomorrow!!! :) yes yes yes yes!!!

Now with Ceaser satisfied I can do the things that should offend me

I've been having a rough week. Just so scattered brained lately and frazzled. Just not really like myself I guess. Dawn thinks my iron is low, ha. I have been on a Christmas gift making frenzy though! And have been battling my car insurance agency, who said they were going to cancel me because I didn't initial the correct paper...but they haven't sent me a new one yet and I only have 12 days left, to sign and return it or they'll cancel me! So insane. I think I'm going to switch to Geico because I got a quote and I would be saving 80 bucks a month!!! which is amazing!! I'm not even exaggerating! So now I just need to find out the exact date that Nationwide is going to cancel me, so I can start with GEICO the same day. Hopefully they'll be cooperative...cos I also have to see if I can get my money back for my renter's insurance, because I paid for the whole year already, since I did not foresee Nationwide NOT being on my side. Oh well, it'll work out.

I am so excited for this weekend!!!! Say Anything. family. best friend. evil dead musical. fun. fun. fun :)

Ok, I'm going to go clean or do something none computer related.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

ok. So I've been internet free for a week and it has been nice. So I think I'm going to all together cut back a tad. Halloween was v. fun. Went to a party at Rochelle's house, fun stuff. Then Sarah King came!!! :) We had fun, spent way to much money. So church was so amazing today I was kinda mad I had to leave early to teach Sunday School, made me want to go to the 11 o'clock service again. I'm really excited because our church is giving us free devotional books to go along with the pastor's new series about love in relationships. woot woot! Oh Friday at our kid's Halloskate party we won first place for the costume contest!! horray. This is a scattered post. I locked my keys in my trunk. Thankfully Joanne was able to pick Sarah and I up and Sarah had a key to my place. Ok, I'm not in the mood to finish this, just in the mood to wrap Christmas gifts!!! :)
