Thankful

Well it's almost Thanksgiving! :) My pastor gave a great message Sunday, like great for real for real. Like Sarah and I both crying (plus other things) but the message got to us too. It was about being thankful all year round. It was deep and impacting.

I am really thankful, even if often I sin and forget this fact.

-I'm thankful for my best friend Sarah. It's weird because sometimes I seriously forget that she's not my sister. Like if I ever have kids they will call her Aunt Sarah and I don't question or doubt that for one second at all.

- I'm so thankful for my grandparents. Especially as of late, as I'm reminded they will not live forever. Definitely praying hard for this one....

-I'm so thankful for my brothers. I have so much love for them it is literally insane.

-I'm thankful for my job... I'm not going to lie it has been a rough transition and it has been lonely and given me many many days of doubting myself and my abilities. I am thankful for the great kids and staff which I am growing to love.

-I'm thankful for mom, while she drives me crazy most days, I do really love her and am thankful I have her in my life.

-I'm thankful for the imprint my dad left on my life, while it has been a hard and still is hard road getting over abuse, I am still thankful for how strong and independent it has made me, it may has made me super f'ed up, but no one can deny I am strong when need be.

-I'm thankful for my church and pastor, even days when I feel alone at church or totally disagree with something the pastor says, I still love it. I love that I really am challenged each week to be a better person. I also love the little kids I teach each week, it's so humbling teaching children about God and it's just so amazing laying the foundation for all God has planned for their lives.

-I'm so thankful for my friends back home, Ashley and Katie. I would be lost without a constant remember of the people I love back in PA.

-I'm thankful for my college friends. Gosh sometimes it was rough living together in a small tight space, but I learned so much about myself and others. I love all my friends from college so much and hope they realize how much they've all touched my life.

- I'm so thankful for Dana and her family that I love so much. I just want to adopt all five of them :)

- I'm thankful for Dwight. I never thought I could love a cat, I was wrong. I love him so much and sleeping is just so much better with a fluffy cat to snuggle with. I love how much he trusts me (this must be what being a parent feels like), he's a cat and he knows I'll keep him safe and I love that.

I am thankful for much much more, but right now I need to get to work son!

I am so thankful for you. Thanks for loving me no matter what. Thanks for accepting me for who I am. I'm glad I got to choose my sister.
