20 random facts again
Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 20 unique facts about your self (Not to be confused with the 20 random things, facts, habits, or goals you posted a couple Months ago). At the end, choose people you want to here from and tag them!
1. I wrote letters to a stranger.
2. Sometimes I hold conversations with myself, sometimes pretending to be someone else.
3. I don't really like wearing clothes and that's why it takes me so long to open the door when an unexpected guest arrives.
4. Sometimes when I read I skip over descriptive paragraph because I find them boring and like to create images of things and people myself and in my head.
5. I once threw up on a girl at a sleepover and moved away from her and never fessed up. No one ever knew it was me.
6. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be able to pick my students up and toss them like babies.
7. If any of my students were orphaned or moved out of there homes, I would take them in, no question about that.

I feel like I've been super busy the past 7 days. But I've been SO happy, so I suppose that is a good trade off. I don't know why. I just have been feeling light hearted lately, even if I have the vaap's trying to weigh me down.
I think a lot has to do with me just being me more often. It takes me a while to get completely comfortable with people. I guess this week I've realized I've been acting like my weird random self with my friends here more and it feels good! :D
So not much else is new. I have another busy week ahead of me, which rots, but I'm sure it'll be ok.
Oh, after 2 months of looking for new and cheap black flat shoes, I found a pair. and I found a British store in one of the malls here and got one of my favorite card games there! It was exciting, I danced a little in the store when I found it!
Church and lunch after was really awesome today! I'm so thankful God lead me to 1st Baptist! No doubt about that. none at all.
So I really wanna watch the Amazing Race, but Obama is on the tv. I mean I love that he is letting the public keep him accountable by doing interviews and letting us know what's going on, but I'd really like to watch my show. Can't he do it on another night?

some things are worth the wait
Happy St. Patrick's Day. This day really was never a big deal to me at all. Until my 2nd year of college when I moved in with my now best friend Sarah King. She introduced me to a world of St. Patrick's day fun! I just celebrated my 4th one with her and it was wonderful again. There's few people in life who I feel like I can pick up with them completely whenever and it's a treasure to have someone like Sarah. I just feel like even though we're 100 miles away (almost exactly). When we get together I can tell her whatever and feel completely comfortable around her. Ok, I know this is a random post about the love I have for my best friend. Sorry for that other readers.
I'm going to start a new book tonight, which excites me!! :D I know this is really random but I've been wanting a kiss on my forehead lately and today at school I was sitting down and my one student just walked up and kissed me on the forehead. It made me chuckle a lot! I love my kiddos! ha. So I may just go for it and take a leap of faith! We'll see how brave I am tomorrow :/

hey homez. Well this weekend was okay. I had fun running around with Ashley. Spent 2 hours at the eye place but it was actually fun. I may get orange glasses next! They looked nice on me if I do say so myself, but I dunno cos I kinda wanna get prescription sun glasses too. So we'll see. I had Tropical Smoothie Cafe yesterday too, YUM!
So yea lately I feel like I haven't been thinking about much, kinda just coasting around. I have been thinking about what this 22 year old Elise would say to the 16 year old one. ha. Weird I know. But just looking back at promises and goals I made for myself then, sometimes I'm like whoah I can't believe I wasn't doing drugs back then. ha.
So nothing else really new. Went to the Sliver Diner last night, it was good. I got a brownie thing and couldn't even finish it, it was ginormous and so good. I was glad Ashley came with me and meet my "church friends" lol. Weird saying I know, but the Christian at her work aren't really good examples of Christians, so I'm sure it was nice to see some normal ones. ha.
I'm driving to Richmond Tuesday! A bit crazy I know, but it's for a hot date! and I can't turn that down! lol

i can see clearly now the rain is gone
It's gonna be a bright sun shiny day! Well it was an interesting week. I learned a lot at the conference and "networked" as well. ha. It was cool to meet people and learn some stuff. So I've been obsessed with this show, Big Love. It's about polygamists and it's very interesting! Not the life for me indeed...
I got new cleaning gloves and I'm really excited to clean the oven with them. Is that weird that I enjoy cleaning? hope not...

what's going on
So I have been receiving bad news all week. It's kinda taking a toll on me, but I just received at least some good news. Helen is out of her coma. Helen the woman who shaped me in my teen years, took me under her wing, always made me apart of her family, and loved me no matter what. I grew up calling her my weekend mom and she called me her weekend daughter. It seems she's gonna be in the hospital for a long time. I think I've been taking it hard because as morbid as it sounds we all imagine what it'll be like when /if our parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends die. Not that I do or did all the time. Just sometimes you think about how life would go on. You just forgot the mentors and other people in your life who had great impact. It really shows you who and what is important in your life. really really.
