Hello there. Today has been a kinda nuts-o day. Got some news which made me feel, upset, hurt, disappointed, and then glad. God really spoke to me about today at Bible study. We were talking about how David was anointed by God to be king, even though he seemed like the least likely candidate and seemed like he didn't have the tools to be king. But his anointing had nothing to do with David's abilities, but everything to do with GOD and what he was going to do through David. So this new situation that was thrown at me today and I feel unprepared and inadequate to take on. Now I have a new attitude. I know (especially thanks to a wonderful boyfriend) that this is where God wants me! And he's going to equip me for the job and help me to succeed there.

Also, tonight at Bible Study I won the door prize! A journal! I've really been wanting to buy a new journal, but haven't, I know I could get one for a dollar! But I dunno I just haven't, but now God answered my silly prayer for a new journal! So that was exciting!


Also, an old friend I haven't seen in 5 years wants to hang out in June when she comes to Virginia to meet a guy she's been talking to on eharmony. Random I know. Exciting though.

Also, I may be addicted to sweet tea...
